What wants to be in a valley? I know I certainly didn't. That was until I realized that the valley can only be what I hold it as. The valley experience doesn't have to be an enemy. It is a blessing that supports connecting the dots to discover and uncover the Truth about who we are. We are DIVINELY POWERFUL! My story is about a personal relationship that I was able to walk away from some years ago. When I took ownership, responsibility and accountability for my own life, my own experiences, and who I was being, it was only then that I stood in my power to leave. In that relationship, I relinquished my inner authority and surrendered my voice to the dark space, sometimes called silence. Not the silence that was BOLD and DARING. The one that was shrouded in FEAR and feelings of REJECTION.
WHAT I KNOW NOW Acknowledgement is the first step to healing and moves us towards acceptance. Accepting does not mean tolerating. It means "calling a thing a thing" and then taking course corrective steps to see your naked truth. The truth supports you in demonstrating a willingness to surrender. Surrendering to new possibilities will then create a sense inner peace. Accepting who you are and what you have experienced is the is the ultimate showing of unconditional love for yourself!
