As I grew up in my village, I had to respect every mother whether it was my birth mother or not. They have taught me so much. I am a woman and mother that I am today because so many have loved me enough to build me to be a loving person and share the love with the children in the world. This is what I have come to understand, as I grow up: every woman is a mother when they intentionally share the love and wisdom that they are with children who then become loving people in the world. I am so grateful for all my mothers. All over the world. I celebrate you today! Thank you so much and I know I am blessed with many more mothers that I am yet about to meet.
