The Third Eye Chakra, which I personally like to call “First Eye” because it is so powerful. With our First Eye, we’re able to see far beyond what’s right in front of us. It is directly connected to our intuition and the more this Eye is open and remains clear, the stronger our intuitive power. The Third Eye is located in the middle of your forehead, between both brows and is associated with the color indigo. The Third Eye Chakra is also associated with certain behavior characteristics like Vision, Intuition, and Perception of Energy. It is connected to our wisdom and insight, along with spiritual gifts that many of us have of seeing and hearing beyond the physical realm. The third eye chakra takes us beyond the physical realm and allows us to connect to our Divine Spirit in a different way. It allows us to become deeply aware to move beyond distractions and deeply align ourselves with our highest good. In other words, it is the gateway to higher consciousness. Cultivating your intuition and trusting your gut instincts comes with awakening the third eye chakra. When we are constantly second guessing ourselves or dishonor what we know we know, then it’s time to do a clearing check.
