Hello, Beloveds, There’s a wonderful energetic power connected with the number 8. In spiritual science, 8 embodies balance across all levels of our being and across all realms of the Universe. When the energy of 8 is present, it brings shifts in our lives to promote peace, harmony, and alignment. When this energy is present, we must be willing to let go of things that are causing disharmony and imbalance in our lives. What could those things be for you? Some of the things for me are toxic foods and an inconsistent body movement practice. For you it could be an inconsistent spiritual practice, holding onto unforgiveness, negative thinking or obligations you know are incongruent with what you want. One of the keys to healing and being in balance is awareness. When you know, with the support you can move yourself forward. Now, let’s take the 8 and lay it on its side. It now becomes the expression of infinity which represents limitless power and infinite immortality. There is no beginning or ending. It is a forever flow of cycles. Here’s a Divine Truth: 8 holds the same shape as our DNA structure and it also stores codes that we can access that allows us to heal, awaken to infinite possibilities, and elevate our consciousness. Nothing is coincidental. Everything is connected. The 8th of the 8th month, is also known as “The Lion’s Gate.” This is the day that Sirius, which is the brightest star, will rise above the eastern horizon right before the sun rises. In ancient Egypt (also known as Kemet), when Sirius rose, it turned the tides causing the Nile River to rise which nourished the land, crops, and sustainable living. Now when Sirius rises each year, it is associated with rendering wealth, restoring balance, passion, and productivity. Remember that you create your own experiences. Your reality is your responsibility. When Lion’s Gate is open and Sirius rises, energy is intensified and will move at an accelerated pace. If you haven’t written your intentions for the month, I encourage you to do so now. Be clear in asking for what you want. The Sun and Leo are naturally associated with the Solar Plexus chakra (take note that your Solar Plexus is your internal sun). During this time of the Lion’s Gate opening, be willing to accept and amplify your own power and use it in manifesting self-confidence, self-control, and self-fulfillment. Do the work to clear and balance your Solar Plexus to further support you in this. This awakened power will help you in manifesting your intentions. About 5 minutes prior to start time, go to a place where you will not be interrupted.
Set the mood with low lighting, candles, soft music or whatever you choose.
Invite Divine Spirit into the space and set an intention for the experience.
Uncross your arms and legs, allowing yourself to feel calmer with each breath.
At start time, close your eyes, bring your intentions to your conscious awareness, and breathe in through your nose for a count of 8 and out through your mouth for a count of 8. See, feel, Imagine, intend it to be so that your breaths are making a circular connection from your nose to your mouth. This symbolizes and deepens your awareness and connection to the energy of 8 (infinite possibilities)
At the end of 8 minutes, sit for a while and then journal any thoughts, feelings, emotions or questions that come up for you.
This, Beloved, is all a part of tapping into your Divine Higher Self and intuitive power. Even after the the 8th, you can incorporate the power of 8 into your breath work and meditation. Let's vibrate higher, Babes! Love,
